Ron Ricchio, President of Chicagoland Home Mortgage Services,
has been a loan officer
for the past 25 years and has
developed a 100 percent referral
based company that serves the greater Chicago
metro area. “Our company
motto is ‘Building
relationships for life.’
We want to be our clients’ lifelong
business partners. “I have had my own mortgage
company for 15 years and have served
more than 2,300
clients during that time. I work with several referral
partners such as real estate agents, attorneys, financial planners and accountants. One of my favorite aspects
of having my own company
is creating new and interesting ways to market services and bring in new business. I embrace that challenge.”
After obtaining an undergraduate
degree in commerce and finance
from DePaul University in 1991, I got started in working in the mortgage industry. “I was looking
for a finance position after college and ended
up working for a mortgage
brokerage when interest rates
were about 10 percent. That helped me develop relationships with REALTORS®.”
I
not only excels at implementing creative
marketing strategies and
running
one of the most
successful mortgage companies
in the Chicago area, he provides clients
with a seamless loan transaction. He shares, “Our team ensures transactions are personable and accessible, and we offer competitive
rates. Also, there is a strong emphasis
on communication with all parties throughout the entire loan process. We provide
an upfront introduction letter to all parties in the beginning after speaking with clients and work to establish rapport with customers so they feel at ease. We also give weekly updates
regarding loan transactions, and clients are always able to get a hold of me. Additionally, I show up to all of my closings,
which I think is key. It is important
to be there to answer any questions the client
has, and being at the closing also allows me to market
to potential referral
partners. Ultimately, we want to make sure clients’
experience with us is far different and surpasses any other experience they have had working with loan officers in the past. That is how we market
our business for the future.
When people are excited and happy about our services, they tell others and refer family and friends to us.”
In addition
to assisting a significant number of people attain homeownership dreams, Ron contributes to several charities
in the community. He shares, “I am on the board of directors
for a non-profit organization called San Francesco
Di Paola, and we donate
to various different charities.
Also, my company donates to charities
such as St. Baldrick’s Foundation and St. Jude
Children’s Research Hospital. My son is a cancer survivor.” Ron adds, “Our company participates in an annual fundraiser for Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital
of Chicago, and we also donate to charities that provide food and clean water for those in need throughout the world. At Christmas time, we host a toy drive for children at local hospitals.”
